“The thrill of hope, a weary world rejoices…..”
There are so many declarations and prophetic announcements
of the victory of Christ and the sons of God.
The Bible as a whole is a book revealing triumph and progress. It’s amazing to see how human history started
in a garden and we see the conclusion being like a great city. Genesis 1 starts with Father, Son, and
Spirit. Then the 4th to the
last verse of the Bible shows Spirit and the Bride partnering together
impacting earth. The eternal, uncreated
Counsel (the Trinity) was no longer alone.
There are sons and daughters walking in covenant causing what is broken
to be restored as a display of His glory.
It’s amazing how we can’t get away from the reality of hope as Father’s
goodness is continually moving all of created existence toward a more
“gardenized” condition.
The thrill of hope overwhelms the weariness of hearts and
causes fresh life to emerge amongst ashes and barrenness. Isaiah 11 gives the picture of a new, green
tree that comes forth from a stump. It
bares fruit in ways that causes Father to be revealed and changes the way
things normally go. It becomes so
thrilling that nations come running as Isaiah 2 speaks of. The tree that comes from the mustard seed in
Matthew 13 becomes the dominate tree that draws birds (nations) to perch on the
branches. Revelation’s last chapter
shows trees that bring fruit every month and have leaves that heal nations.
All of this is the result of Father’s goodness and is the
firm reality of what has been happening and what is ahead for us. The world has no need to remain weary,
broken, stumbling around in the dark. Light has come. Healing is available, and rest is a very real
place we can live from.
Let this season be the time to deeply consider how strong
Hope is and how we have full assurance Father’s goodness prevails. Nothing has been withheld.
